In Australia when someone refers to ‘the state’ it means social welfare. I was making reference that we should be grateful for Irish Baby Yoda hug St Patricks day t-shirt because not everyone has access to it. To me that meant you weren’t able to work. Jane Andersen it happens all the time. State, corporations assume contractors have money to spare.
Their pay gets delayed n some have even committed suicide. At least you were the resilient type. Or maybe too depressed to do anything about it. Actually, I probably would have been homeless without my landlady. And how do you explain to a new landlord that you lost your apartment because you couldn’t pay the rent because you weren’t being paid. That looks really good. I am just so grateful for Gerry.
As a former apt building manager, ive known awful owners- they seemed to attract awful tenants. And great property owners, like my friend Dave, where in a competitive rental market he’s had waiting lists at times. Being a good Irish Baby Yoda hug St Patricks day t-shirt is also cost effective.
I would watch The Mandalorian Baby Yoda happy Patricks Day t-shirt and squeeze extra rent out of good long term tenants who didn’t have it and were forced to move then another tenant would move in and out again in a few months revolving door. Any additional rent the owner got eaten up by painting, cleaning, sitting on the vacancy -fees or taking them to court for breaking the lease.
It isn’t market value here in a rural area. The rest of the property is a bed and breakfast so they already have regular income on the property as well. The biggest part here is that she took the initiative and even though it was hard to humble herself, I am sure, she DID IT. And she found Irish Baby Yoda hug St Patricks day t-shirt that would listen. I know we aren’t always going to find people that listen but, it’s SO important to never give up. This is rad. Translation: The system is crap but it’s the crap we’ve got. She succeeded IN SPITE of the system and not BECAUSE of the system.
Kudos to her, kudos to all who are cheering on her Irish Baby Yoda hug St Patricks day t-shirt, and kudos to Aaron Fisher for saying out loud that the system is broken and a shameful thing. All these things are true and none of them negate each other.
The biggest part isn’t the fact that she took the initiative. Most poor have initiative. The biggest thing is that there was someone who showed empathy and kindness, who took the time to know their story and give them a hand up. I’m currently facing eviction as a single mother and I am working hard to get out of the situation, but I have neither an empathetic landlord or a someone to give me a hand up.
In fact I have an absentee landlord who doesn’t give a damn because he doesn’t know me even though I have been renting from him for 17 years. Well, I definitely do not benefit from the system but, I also know that I must work within the current system, regardless of the state of the system. I say the biggest thing because within that Irish Baby Yoda hug St Patricks day t-shirt, she retained her power and THAT is how we change the system; from within and with perseverance.
