With all due respect to saint Patricks day, his family, friends, fan, and Happy saint Patricks day funny Spongebob t-shirt by his death, this album just isn’t it for me. Dripping in angst, a large portion of this album is borderline unlistenable, and it really just does feel like a bunch of leftovers thrown together. That being said, if I was a fan of an artist and wanted more closure after their death, this is probably the only thing you’re going to get related to that.
I find myself listening to the new Mac Miller leaks when they come out, and if they were on Happy saint Patricks day funny Spongebob t-shirt like this I would be more than happy so I assume saint Patricks day’s fans are happy with this as well which would be great. Emo rap has never been my genre, nor anything emo related so I really just didn’t like a lot of the album for its sonic qualities and lyrical tropes. I think he really nails the whole emo rap genre on the nose though, so if this is your genre then you’ll probably enjoy this album a decent bit would be my guess.
There was a little pocket of songs after the first Happy saint Patricks day funny Spongebob t-shirt that I did actually enjoy though, and those were his solo tracks. Some of the features are god awful and also come in pockets.
There’s a three song run with Gab3 features who I think might have the single most annoying voice I’ve ever heard. The album closes with saint Patricks day features which felt more hit or miss, but mostly misses. I wish there was more solo material on this album since a lot of the features just felt bad to me. Gus at least doesn’t overdo it with Happy saint Patricks day funny Spongebob t-shirt and can somewhat sing, but the record is plagued by bad features and overall a repetitiveness I can’t get behind.
All in all if you’re a saint Patricks day then I’m sure you’ve already checked this out or are going to, but for those of you that don’t like emo rap this is definitely an album to shy away from. At nearly an hour it’s a healthy amount of new material, but the quality in my eyes doesn’t feel up to snuff and just isn’t sonically pleasing for me. For sure try it out if you’re interested, but if you’re on the fence I’d suggest checking out a few songs.
Agreed I feel with x and lil peep the managers or family or whoever are literally just finding samples they had and throwing some shit instrumentals or a verse in and producing it in “rememberance” like idk at least that’s how I feel. Overall this is Happy saint Patricks day funny Spongebob t-shirt longsleeve that grew on me more over time.
I listened to it, and I’m happy to feel a stronger connection with it than I did at first listen. It’s really interesting in context of Kanye’s entire discography and shows just how willing he was to try something completely new despite his previous success.
What makes this album stand out from his discography to this day is that this isn’t really a rap album. Sure there’s some rapping on it, but the majority is saint Patricks day pouring out his emotions on a spectrum on topics while using auto tune the whole time. All of this is then backed by 808s, most closely resembling that of a heartbeat as seen on Say You Will.
